Tyrod Taylor put on an amazing show with his feet, his arm, and his mind. The Hokies moved the ball well in the first half, but had trouble finishing the deal. By the second half, the Ohio defense was sufficiently worn down and allowed the Hokies to score three more touchdowns, all rushing TDs.

I've received a lot of nice e-mails this week from fellow Hokies and even one from a Wahoo.
For me, that's the one positive that's come from this senseless act of violence. Just like post-9/11, you see a country coming together. Almost shrinking itself. Huddling close to stay protected and to feed off the body heat of your neighbor.
The Hokie Nation used to consist solely of Virginia Tech fans. And it's had its opposition in recent years. Even, to my great sadness, been given the label of thugs.
But this week the cry has gone out: for now, we're all in the Hokie Nation. To that end, I received this excellent graphic of the VT logo...

Orange and Maroon Day on Friday April 20th
Yah! Last time we were at the Peach Bowl was in 1986. I drove down with my wife (girlfriend at the time) and room-mate. It was a great game and a great time. Hopefully this one will live up to that reputation!
