He couldn't say it in a public high school, but he can say it when he wins the Heisman Trophy:
First start off by thanking my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave me the ability to play football....
I'll admit I wasn't pulling for Tim earlier today. But then I heard his interview on the Heisman Trophy Presentation show and he spoke of his faith several times. Now I'm proud that he's won!

Without a doubt, Virginia Tech's football coach, Frank Beamer. Go Hokies!
Tyrod Taylor put on an amazing show with his feet, his arm, and his mind. The Hokies moved the ball well in the first half, but had trouble finishing the deal. By the second half, the Ohio defense was sufficiently worn down and allowed the Hokies to score three more touchdowns, all rushing TDs.
Bill Roth (the Voice of the Hokies), has an excellent recap of Tyrod's performance on The Kroger Roth Report.
Yah! Last time we were at the Peach Bowl was in 1986. I drove down with my wife (girlfriend at the time) and room-mate. It was a great game and a great time. Hopefully this one will live up to that reputation!

Wow...this is really eery:
A charter plane carrying the Marshall University football team to a game against East Carolina was evacuated after smoke was reported in an engine, airport officials said.
Almost 36 years ago to the day, on Nov. 14, 1970, a plane carrying the Marshall football team home from a game against East Carolina crashed, killing 75 people, including most of the team. A movie about the rebuilding of Marshall's football program after the crash is scheduled to open nationwide on Dec. 22.
